Dr Alison Clarke

Dr Alison Clarke has worked in various General Practices for 37 years. She has extensive experience in women’s health and is very keen to help with any issues from teenage years to the older years.

She can provide contraceptive advice including insertion of intrauterine devices (both hormonal and non-hormonal). She can insert hormonal contraceptive implants. She is a member of the Australasian Menopause Society. She can help with fertility and pregnancy related concerns and provide antenatal shared care.

Her interests include gardening, cooking, spending time with family and friends and keeping active.

I have gained significant experience over the years and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with my patients and colleagues.
I have post graduate qualifications in sexual and reproductive health, antenatal shared care, IUD insertions, hormonal contraceptive implant insertions and menopause

My passion is to provide a positive healthcare experience for women. My focus on women’s health started early in my career, after working in family planning and hospitals. It ignited a passion for providing comprehensive and empathetic care to women, giving them up to date information and sharing the decision-making process.
