Graduating in Bangladesh in 2006, Dr Mahua moved to Australia and worked at Ballarat Base Hospital for 5 years as a Senior Medical Officer before joining Ballarat Medical and Dental as a GP in 2020.
Throughout her career, Dr Mahua has worked in different areas of medicine including emergency, surgery, general medicine, neurology, paediatrics, geriatric medicine, gynaecology and obstetrics and mental health.
Known for her empathy and compassion, Dr Mahua has a non-judgemental approach to treating her patients and likes to focus on continuity of care.
Outside of medicine, you can find Dr Mahua exploring new places with her family.
