Dr Syeda Bushra

With a regional medicine background after training in Bega and Shoalhaven, Dr Syeda is a GP who is also experienced in emergency and minor surgical procedures.

Although knowledgeable in all areas of family medicine, Dr Syeda has special interest in skin cancer surgery, children’s health and women’s health. Sharing her expertise with others is also important to Dr Syeda, so she can sometimes be found at ANU and Wollongong University teaching medical students.

Outside of medicine, Dr Syeda lives with her husband and son, they enjoy going cycling, hiking, swimming and fishing together. In her downtime, Dr Syeda likes cooking, reading books and painting

When I first started as a GP, I found that most female patients preferred to be treated by female doctors - this ignited my passion for women’s health. Being able to speak multiple languages has helped me to treat various women, many of whom I see on a regular basis. I am proud to be part of the Evoca team to help today’s wonder women with their complex needs, from teenage life, pregnancy, menopause and beyond.
